June has always been in my life. She was my mum’s best friend at school: her bridesmaid and my Godmother. When I was wee I loved when she came home to Linwood to visit - telling me stories of her youth and always instilling advice and encouraging me to aim high. She was inspirational in so many ways. As others have already mentioned, her presence lit up rooms. I don’t think I fully appreciated this until I was an adult and enjoyed many days and nights in her company. It was lovely growing to know Paul, Jade and Callum over the years too. She was special - and she made everyone she loved and cared about feel special too. I feel blessed to have had her in my life. ❤️
